Originally purchased to
be a leadline pony for our sons in August of 1999, this 13.2 hand, head-shaking
treasure proved to our family that big things DO come in small packages! He
possesses a special place in our hearts and is a permanent member of the family.
He has superior breeding with 1981 Tennessee Walking Horse World Grand Champion
"The Pusher C.G."
and 1991 Tennessee Walking Horse World Grand Champion "Flashy
Pride" blood running through his veins!"In 2003 Pride took on a new rider and division. Clay Dunivan, son of our trainer Phil and Sabrina Dunivan, took the reins and ran with the Trail Pleasure - Youth Riders 11 & Under division. Clay worked hard and was such a wonderful sport when competing. We're so proud of Clay (and Pride)! Clay shared his success with trainer Dickie Gardner as they competed in the Trail Pleasure 4 & Over, Open division. Pride has now captured a total of 69 SSHBEA affiliated wins...only SIX to go for PLATINUM SUPREME!" Pride's 2003 World titles included:
