Our family lives on 1000+ acres of beautiful woods and rolling pastureland in
western Kentucky. Aside from our horses, we raise Purebred Angus cattle. We
also raise a herd of commercial cattle consisting of Simmental and Angus cows
crossed with top quality Angus and black Limousin bulls. We do offer for sale
a few of our select Angus bulls…feel free to contact us if interested.
Brad and Liz have been married since 1989. Brad is an Orthodontist practicing
in Mayfield, Murray and Paducah Kentucky. He attended Murray State University,
received his Doctorate and graduated first in his class from University of
Louisville School of Dentistry and received his Masters Degree in Orthodontics
from the University of Tennessee (Memphis). Liz handles accounts payable for
the practice at home and operates STUVIS Stables. She graduated from Murray
State University with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education (K-8). Stuart
(born in 1995) and Davis (born in 1996) are very active boys. Aside from
loving to trail ride – they each play on a competitive/travel baseball team.
Stuart is a pitcher and shortstop for the 13U West Kentucky OUTLAWS.
. Davis is a third baseman
and outfielder for the 11U Murray Bucs.
Not only dot he boys LOVE baseball and trail riding…but, they also love
FOOTBALL and BASKETBALL. Stuart is currently playing for GCMS – while Davis
plays for Central Elementary Knights. As a family, we are members of First
Presbyterian Church in Mayfield. Our family also enjoys shooting skeet, snow
skiing, farming, hunting, traveling, fishing and cooking!
Stuart and Davis are always eager to help out with the feeding, cleaning stalls
and loving our equine family members. Our facility has four foaling stalls in
the mare barn one of which is wired with a ‘foal-cam’. Bloodlines,
conformation, gait and disposition are all of TOP priority to our breeding
program. We imprint our foals at birth. All horses are kept on a strict
vaccination, dental, hoof and de-worming schedule. Other members of our family
include; “Bleu” (Weimaraner), “Belle” Chesapeake Bay Retriever), “PigPup”
(Weimador – Weimaraner/Labrador “HYBRID”), and “Digger” (miniature Dachshund).
It’s a GREAT LIFE here on the farm and we wouldn’t have it any
other way!
