"Buffy" is now owned by Dr. Miki Haendiges of Indiana. "Buffy" had a beautiful buckskin tobiano filly by "Alen's Caper" and is back in foal to "Pushin' the Champagne". "Buffy" as she is known to those that love her is a powerful 16 hand mare with major natural ability! She is by spotted super sire "Spotted Alen Again" and out of a "Pride of Midnight"/"Ebony Masterpiece" bred TWH mare. "Buffy" first entered the ring as a three year old and claimed reserve in the 1999 SSHBEA Spring Show's Two and Three Year Old Amateur Owned and Trained division, while under the ownership of Owen and Judy Wallis. We purchased Buffy in May 2000 where she was beginning her first year of professional training at Hubert Perry and Sons under the direction of Greg Perry. Although purchased to be a broodmare, "Buffy" was left in training "to see what she could do." She had a most successful season with co-owner Michelle Perry and trainer Greg Perry showing her. She rarely left the ring without a ribbon in classes that reached 20+ and even claimed some blue ribbons above former World Champions. She was nominated for PSSHTA Four Year Old Horse of the Year. We don't think that was too shabby for her first year in training!
